About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineer – DevOps Specialist to join our client’ team As part of DevOps & Observability function, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated solutions for our platforms and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, reproducing and resolving problems in lab environments.
• Support business-critical deployments, upgrades, and configurations.
• Design, implement, and maintain observability strategies (monitoring, logging, tracing).
• Configure and optimize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry, etc.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams to instrument services for advanced insight and alerting.
• Implement and optimize AIOps platforms (BMC Helix, Moogsoft, Dynatrace, or equivalent).
• Integrate monitoring data for advanced analytics, anomaly detection, and auto-remediation.
• Identify and drive automation, security, and continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery pipeline.
• Mentor colleagues, contribute to knowledge sharing, and provide expertise during major IT incidents.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with observability stacks (Grafana, Elastic, Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native monitoring (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with AIOps platforms and ITSM integrations (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
• Familiarity with alert correlation, anomaly detection, and automation rules.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, security, and GDPR/data protection best practices.
• Ability to mentor, communicate, and drive innovation within technical teams.
• Fluency in English and Romanian
